After first taking to the waves at just five years old at his local break in Bude, within three years Stan had been awarded ‘King of the Groms’ and was sponsored by Quiksilver.

Fast forward a few years and his passion for peelers hasn’t slowed down. After dusting off the cobwebs from a lack of competitions during Covid-19, Stan was crowned British Champion in April 2021 and continues to dominate the line-up in his regular appearances at the World Surfing Games.
