Sam can be found sliding and gliding around the breaks of her home town in Newquay, although she often spends the Winter months hanging ten amongst warmer rips and reefs in Costa Rica, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

Although she wouldn’t describe herself as a competitive surfer, Sam has become a familiar face in women’s longboard heats, recently coming 2nd overall in the British Longboard Union Classic held at Fistral Beach.

When she’s not got her toes on the nose she’s frolicking about in the whitewater helping beginner surfers find their feet at her brand new surf school, Gather and Glide.
