Emily grew up surfing the points and reefs along the Welsh coast. After competing from a young age collecting 7 Welsh titles and a British Universities title along the way, she took a break for a few years to complete a Masters in Sports and Exercise Science at Swansea University.

Currently coaching at The Wave in Bristol, she’s planning on travelling and competing on the QS to recover from an overdose of reading research papers.
